Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) Ignited have opened the third round of its Collaborative Project Funds, with a free information session this month on how to access the funds. The project funding is an opportunity for industry to secure matched funding ($6M is available) to commercialise innovation that will benefit the Australian mining equipment, technology and services (METS) and mining sectors.
Year 8 Centre of Resources Excellence (CoRE) students from Kent Street Senior High School will showcase their outcomes of the current learning model for secondary school in a presentation to the community. As part of a four-day field trip to Kalgoorlie, the students will demonstrate in a 30-minute presentation how the CoRE program, titled 'Red Gold', has supported their approach to learning within the resources industry.
