Join Gold Industry Group members Norton Gold Fields and the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry for St Barbara's Festival this weekend to celebrate mining and its contribution to our heritage, our economy and our community.

Newly elected Chairman Jim Coxon while new to the role is enthusiastic for the year’s Festivities, “the Festival is such an important part of our community and an event that all mining companies and those associated with the industry should be involved with”.

Festival events include the Miners Memorial held in Saint Barbaras Square, Thursday 5 December and the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Museum WA Open Day and Parade held in Hannan Street Saturday, 7 December.

Mayor John Bowler along with Festival partners were present for the naming rights draw for the 2015 Festival.

“I am proud to announce this year’s Festival is now branded as the 2015 KCGM Saint Barbaras Festival.” John Bowler announced.
