West Coast Fever players experienced WA’s golden outback in March as they kicked off their preseason, treating the community to two action-packed games in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and a day of community clinics.
As the Principal Partner of Netball WA, West Coast Fever and Shooting Stars, the Gold Industry Group supported the stars return to the region after the success of their inaugural trip last year, in conjunction with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
A Christmas safety push at Gold Fields’ St Ives mine resulted in a monetary gift delivered to five Kalgoorlie-based community organisations.
The funds earned were a result of increasing and improving safety interactions over the 100 days leading up to Christmas.
Electrical apprentice Victoria Putter has become a treasured member of the electrical team at Gold Fields' St Ives Gold Mine and is close to finishing her TAFE studies in Kalgoorlie.
In her second year as an Electrical Apprentice, Ms Putter is achieving excellent results in her TAFE studies, with her positive attitude an asset in the workplace.
