The Gold Industry Group Board of Directors this week appointed Gold Fields’ Vice President of Legal and Compliance Kelly Carter as Chair for a second term and welcomed Saturn Metals Managing Director Ian Bamborough as Vice Chair in his first year as a Director, also marking the first time an explorer has held a board position and now Vice Chair.
The Gold Industry Group (GIG) welcomed five new Directors at out 2021 Annual General Meeting, including Saturn Metals Managing Director Ian Bamborough, St Barbara Head of People, Culture and Corporate Affairs Justine Fisher, Northern Star Resources Group Manager Government Relations and Social Performance Dr Guy Singleton, Gold Road Resources Chief Financial Offer John Mullumby and Perth Mint Manager Business Development and Industry Research Cameron Alexander.
Last month’s RIU Explorers Conference was the biggest yet, with resources companies, brokers, funds, bankers, investors, government and suppliers come together to discuss exploration and production successes and opportunities.
Now in its 18th year, the conference featured a number of Gold Industry Group members.
