West Coast Fever made history last weekend, winning on and off the court in Kalgoorlie-Boulder as they engaged with the community at every turn and played two epic preseason matches.
More than 2,000 Fever fans joined in the fun from the moment the team touched down over three action-packed days of activity.
In recognition of International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March 2020, KCGM will light the Mt Charlotte headframe purple, as a unique way to commemorate the day and highlight this year’s theme #EachforEqual.
The Kalgoorlie-Boulder community are encouraged to view the headframe from sunset on the Saturday evening until dawn on Sunday 9 March 2020.
In recognition of International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March, KCGM coloured its Super Pit blast pink and encouraged the community to join in the celebration by viewing the pink blast from the Super Pit Lookout.
The spectacle was a unique way to commemorate and highlight this year’s call #BalanceforBetter, motivating and uniting the KCGM workforce and the wider Kalgoorlie-Boulder community to think, act, and be gender inclusive.
