The Gold Industry Group has renewed its golden partnership with Netball WA, West Coast Fever and Glass Jar Australia, extending its landmark agreement for another three years and continuing its support across the sport through to the end of 2024.
The partnership remains the first of its kind in Australia to channel investment into women’s sport at all levels, recognising the Gold Industry Group as Principal Partner of Netball WA, Major Partner of Glass Jar Australia’s Shooting Stars program, and Elite Partner of West Coast Fever.
In its sixteenth year, the 2020 NAIDOC Netball Carnival cemented itself as one of the largest Indigenous sporting events in Australia, with more than 100 teams coming together at the Gold Netball Centre on Sunday 15 November.
Supported by Principal Partner of Netball WA, the Gold Industry Group (GIG), the Carnival saw more than 2,500 netballers and their families take part, with teams travelling from across the State to proudly represent their communities.
West Coast Fever made history last weekend, winning on and off the court in Kalgoorlie-Boulder as they engaged with the community at every turn and played two epic preseason matches.
More than 2,000 Fever fans joined in the fun from the moment the team touched down over three action-packed days of activity.
Netball in Western Australia and the Gold Industry Group have celebrated the first three months of a fruitful partnership this week.
The partnership has impacted the more than 230,000 netball participants around the State, particularly in WA’s regional areas through the roll out of the Regional Office Structure, which has been made sustainable through the partnership.
The Gold Industry Group is thrilled to further its support of netball, joining its grassroots program, Suncorp NetSetGO, as the Associate Partner in Western Australia.
To celebrate the announcement, we are offering all West Australian Suncorp NetSetGO participants the opportunity to attend West Coast Fever’s home game against the NSW Swifts via a two-for-one ticket deal.
