The Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League (GIG WANL) were joined by partners and sponsors to officially launch their 2020 season at the Gold Netball Centre on Friday 26 June.
The competition continues to go from strength to strength, this year GIG WANL welcomes Peel Lightning to its competition taking the total number of teams competing for the premiership to eight.
This year’s Fuel to Go and Play Association Championships run by Netball WA saw more than 13 000 players from 267 teams in 41 Associations across 38 divisions literally shine gold as they took to the court.
Whether it be a heart of gold hat won at our shooting comp, or gold glitter braids care of our gold face paint station, or golden smiles at our Instagram photo wall, it was all in demand with a comfy couch on which to refresh in the Gold Lounge.
