We’re excited to introduce our newest member, The Apprenticeship Community, who are helping to ensure participation and success in apprenticeships and traineeships across Western Australia.

The Apprenticeship Community are the only community-based, registered charity which is a provider of free Australian Apprenticeship Support Network Services in WA for both companies and individuals.

Working closely with employers and job seekers in the vocational education and training sector, they provide information and assistance to support them throughout their journey and build stronger workforces across the State. Through one point of contact, they ensure a smooth transition for all parties.

State Manager Jo Eagle said the company were excited to be part of the Gold Industry Group.

“The Apprenticeship Community works with employers to upskill and train their current employees and to find new apprentices and trainees.

“We are looking forward to creating opportunities to assist companies to develop their workforce capabilities ensuring a competitive gold sector in Western Australia,” said Ms Eagle.

The Apprenticeship Community deliver comprehensive and tailored advice from a dedicated careers team; administration and registration support; mental health tools via the Good to Go Mental Health Awareness Initiative; mentoring, networking, and support services; Student Edge discounts; and Federal and State Government incentives. They also function as a liaison for training organisations and government departments.

Gold Industry Group members working with The Apprenticeship Community include Gold Fields, Northern Star Resources, Evolution Mining, Norton Gold Fields, AngloGold Ashanti Australia, KCGM, IGO and Macmahon.
