Located in the heart of Australia’s gold capital, Natural Gold Nuggets and Jewellery beckons locals and visitors alike with a glittering array of the region’s finest gold treasures.

Situated in a historic building dating back to 1895 on Hannan Street in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Natural Gold Nuggets and Jewellery continues the tradition of retailers trading gold specimens sourced locally.

Step inside the showroom and be amazed by the City’s largest retail collection of natural gold nuggets, unique souvenirs, and an exceptional assortment of local and international crystals, fossils, and mineral specimens.

Owner, Richard Mancuso, feels privileged to work within such a bountiful region.

“The red plains, hills and salt lakes of Western Australia are home to arguably the largest alluvial goldfields of the southern hemisphere and we are lucky enough to offer their treasures on behalf of the prospectors and artisans of the area,” said Mr Mancuso.

Give the gift of gold and choose from an extensive range of exquisite hand-crafted gold nugget jewellery or collaborate with the store’s designers to craft your own custom-made, hand-fashioned piece of lasting individuality and sentimentality.

Natural Gold Nuggets and Jewellery also purchases gold in all forms, with premiums offered for high-quality, large, and unusual nuggets. Other specialist services include jewellery repair, mineral identification, and evaluation.

The Natural Gold Nuggets and Jewellery showroom is open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday. To learn more, or to book an afterhours appointment, see the website or follow on Facebook and Instagram.

Gold Prospecting

Why not try your hand at striking it rich in the Goldfields! All of the gold available in the Natural Gold Nuggets and Jewellery showroom was found by local prospectors.

Before you grab a metal detector and start walking, be sure to obtain written permission from the owner of the minerals lease or license where you intend to prospect. Alternatively, check the WA Department of Mines website for up-to-date information on acquiring a prospecting permit, along with maps, requirements and obligations.

The more serious prospectors can get further help from the Amalgamated Leaseholders and Prospectors Association of Western Australia (APLA). Formed in 1904, APLA represent the interests and concerns of prospectors, and members today can enjoy a variety of benefits, including assistance with insurance, free subscriptions and invitations to APLA events and training.
